Our Core Mandates

Policy and Strategic Development Planning

We prepare disaster risk management policies, strategies, and plans that guide prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts across the region.

Early Warning and Risk Monitoring

We strengthen early warning systems by collecting, analyzing, and coordinating disaster risk information for timely preparedness and action.

Emergency Response Coordination

We coordinate emergency response operations to ensure timely, appropriate, and effective assistance for communities affected by disasters.

Humanitarian Support & Relief Management

We manage and oversee the registration, coordination, and distribution of humanitarian relief support for disaster-affected populations.

Recovery, Resettlement & Resilience

We support recovery, rehabilitation, resettlement, and resilience-building efforts to restore livelihoods for affected communities and reduce future disaster risks.

Partnership, Coordination & Oversight

We coordinate institutions, partners, and projects involved in disaster risk management and monitor implementation to improve effectiveness and accountability.
